Who we are
Set in beautiful surroundings, The Crescent is an independent nursery in Merrow, Guildford, providing high-quality childcare for children aged two to five. We offer a nurturing environment rich in opportunities to explore and investigate, where every child is supported to flourish. Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with children learning through a balance of child-led play, thoughtfully planned activities and consistent daily routines, with regular use of our outdoor areas and woodland. Open during term time, our hours align with those of local primary schools, allowing for smooth drop-off and pick-up of siblings if needed, while gently preparing children for a confident transition to school.
